Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act represents the largest upward transfer of wealth and includes the largest cuts to health care in American history. It will be a major step backwards for this country’s health care infrastructure that could lead to 12 million more Americans becoming uninsured, loss of services, and a decline in quality of care. “It’s a regressive step,” former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich tells Ali Velshi. “Not only are we taking Medicaid from working class and poor people and un-insuring them, but we are using much of the savings to provide a very big tax cut to the richest people in this country.”
