Singer Justin Timberlake was arrested Monday night on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons in New York, according to local authorities.
Timberlake, 43, remained in custody Tuesday, NBC News reported, and was set to appear in court in the village of Sag Harbor later in the morning. A representative for Timberlake could not immediately be reached by NBC News.
The pop star, who is married to actress Jessica Biel, is currently on “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.” His next scheduled shows are in Chicago on Friday and Saturday.
