Trump's debate defeat threatens down-ballot Republicans as Harris pursues persuadables 

Despite Kamala Harris’ dominating debate performance, the actual number of voters who aren’t already locked into a presidential preference is quite small. But while Trump may retain his die hard following, Harris may have an opportunity to attract votes from centrists and disaffected Republicans as her momentum continues to build.
