‘A wild day’: Film director recalls being at the January 6th riot after new documentary debut

“Homegrown”, a new film documenting the chaos and tensions that led up to the January 6th riot, made its debut this week at the Venice Critics’ Week film festival. Michael Premo, the director, joins Alex Witt to explore the movie making process and the harrowing scenes he witnessed while following three right-wing activists.
