The defense rested its case in Donald Trump’s hush money trial — and Trump himself chose not to take the stand in his own defense, despite previously saying he wanted to testify. The defense’s key witness, Robert Costello, returned to the stand for a cross-examination from the prosecution that both corroborated Michael Cohen’s testimony and showed the mob-like tactics between Trump and his employees during the height of the Stormy Daniels controversy.
